  FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

This page contains answers to common questions handled by our support staff, along with some tips and tricks that we have found useful and presented here as questions.

Who qualifies for our debt settlement program   ?

Each situation is unique.  In general, however, we can only accept individuals who are currently in a state of financial hardship.  This is a broad term and each person has their own definition of "hardship" but typically it means loss of employment, injury, illness, loss of income, catastrophic theft, or hundreds of other financial damaging events.  Basically, it's when bad things happen to good people.  Our debt settlement program is NOT intended for people who want to do nothing more than avoid paying their debts.

Which debts can be included in our debt settlement program?

Our debt settlement program can accept most types of "unsecured" debt.  This includes credit cards, department store cards, signature loans, and collection agencies.  We can even work with medical collections and judgments, but the results are less predictable.  We cannot accept auto loans, motorcycle loans, mortgage payments, or current utilities.  We also do not accept student loans or tax debt.  If you have a vehicle that has been repossessed, we can assist you with the amount you still owe after the sales of the repossession leaves an outstanding balance.

How much do we charge for our debt settlement program?

We charge a percentage of the total debt that you've asked us to negotiate and settle.  To completely resolve your debt and pay our fees your average savings is 50%.

What happens after I'm approved for your debt settlement program ...?

Either you (when original signature are needed) or our negotiation staff will send out letters to each of your creditors putting them on notice that you have engaged our company to help resolve your debt through debt settlement. This letter also stops most collector calls by re-directing their communications to our negotiation staff.  When you are accepted into our debt settlement program you will receive a comprehensive packet that spells out in plain English, step-by-step what to do and how to maximize your results with our debt settlement program.

Can I continue to use my credit cards after I'm approved into the program  ?

No.  Continuing to use any credit card enrolled in our debt settlement program may constitute fraud.  We recommend that if your financial situation affords you the ability to keep one card for emergency purposes you should do so.  We further recommend that you contact each of the creditors you enroll and close your account with them.

How do I get a copy of my credit report ... ?

Consumers may request a free copy of their credit report every 12 months. AnnualCreditReport.com is a central site which allows you to request a free credit file disclosure, commonly called a credit report, once every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.  Be sure to opt out of any offers in order to avoid telemarketing calls.
